Patricia Peck, 77
Patricia Ann (Hoyt) Peck, 77 of Clarksburg, MA and her longtime companion of 32 years, Gary James Sheldon died together on Saturday, September 9, 2023 following an accident crossing the road outside Lebanon Speedway.
Patricia was born in Florida, MA on April 7, 1946, a daughter of Charles and Jennie (Pervere) Hoyt. She was a graduate of Charlemont Regional School. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church of North Adams.
She had been employed by Sprague Electric, and for many years as a press operator at Williams College Alumni office. She was last employed in her retirement years at Cordmaster.
Patricia greatly enjoyed her knitting group and loved to swim at the YMCA.
She leaves behind three daughters; Melissa McLain of North Adams, Melanie Matte (Robert) of Readsboro, VT and Jill Sheldon-Morris (Jef) of DeLand, FL. She also leaves her brothers; William Hoyt and Thomas Hoyt and sisters; Emily Hoyt, Shirley St. Peter and Virginia Pratt. In addition she leaves her brother-in laws; William Peck (Susan), Robert Peck (Gail) and Richard Peck (Loula) and 12 grandchildren; Ashley, Joshua, Destiny, Dominique, Jeremy, Tiffany, Kayleigh, Thomas, Lyla, John-Michael, Cheyanne and Jaxon and 4 great grandchildren; Austin, Raelynn, Caleb, Harper and one on the way. She also leaves her former husband Arthur Peck and her two dogs, Luke and Max Sheldon and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Charles, Frederick and Stanley Hoyt and her sisters, Ruth Wyman, Betty Bender, Mary Shader and Nellie Hoyt.
FUNERAL NOTICE: FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Patricia Ann Peck will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of North Adams . Burial will follow in Clarksburg Cemetery. Calling hours at the First Baptist Church, 131 Main Street, North Adams will take place prior to the service on Wednesday from 9-11 AM . In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to First Baptist Church of North Adams in honor of the deceased.
