Mary B. Robert, 66

ADAMS, Mass. —  Mary Blanche Robert, 66 of Adams, MA passed away suddenly on Tuesday August 29, 2023 at the Lahey Clinic Hospital in Burlington, MA.

She was born in North Adams, MA on March 11, 1957, a daughter of the late Wilfrid Normand Robert and Frances Mae (Calnan) Robert. She attended the former St. Joseph's High School, until its closing, graduating from Drury High School with the class of 1975. Mary attended North Adams State College and graduated from Alfred University.

Mary worked at Berkshire Health Systems in Pittsfield for over 30 years. Prior to that she worked for her dad at Mt Greylock Bowl, where she made many life-long friends. She was a staunch advocate and volunteer for the American Cancer Society, serving as the co-chair for the Berkshire County Relay for Life. Mary enjoyed fitness and yoga. She found a second family with the people at North Adams Yoga where she was a frequent participant in their many programs.

Mary’s deepest passion was for her family. Mary never missed a chance for a family get together, her Christmas Day gatherings were legendary. She loved attending the many activities of her nieces and nephews, rarely missing a sporting event, dance recital, concert, or theatrical performance.

Survivors include three sisters, Laura (James) Clune of Shaftsbury, VT; Denise Bragdon of Panama City, FL and Constance (Brian) Tatro of North Adams, one brother, Lawrence (Carol) Robert of Shaftsbury, VT and a brother-in-law, Mark (Joyce) Lincourt of Chicopee, MA.
