Mike graduated from Bennington Catholic High School and St. Joseph's College in Bennington, VT. He owned and operated several assisted living facilities in southern Vermont, including Eastshire Estates and Monument Manor. He worked closely with state regulators and the families of residents to ensure the highest quality of care and comfort for the elderly. Even in retirement, he sustained his commitment to the community, collaborating with local charities to provide resources to women and children in need.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Mike had a passion for rebuilding classic cars. He shared this love with his son Jay, embarking on memorable journeys like the Great Race, where they drove his cherished 1969 Camaro from Maine to Florida. He also had a zest for life, engaging in conversations about current events and relishing his daily coffee and donuts with a wide circle of friends.
Though Mike may no longer be with us in person, his spirit will forever live on in the hearts and memories of those fortunate enough to have known him. May he rest in eternal peace.
A funeral mass to honor Mike will be held at 10am on August 26, 2023 at Sacred Heart St. Francis de Sales Church in Bennington, VT.
