Recollections & Sympathy For the Family

Sandra, I'm sorry for your loss, I didn't know until now. I kept up with her as my mother and wasn't just niece and Aunt. She was a beloved favorite of my mother. When my mom died she sent me information and prayers. She was a wonderful person. I only met her twice when she and Aunt Ana visited California. We had fun in Mexico shopping and when I came.back to visit with my parents. She was always warm and welcoming. She was grief stricken because of the losses your family suffered. The last time I talked to her she was distraught. I'm sure you miss her terribly but seeing as the bible says for the Lord his day is as as a thousand of our years. So figuring it out, if we live to a ripe old age your mom will be thinking she had only been there a few minutes when the rest of us arrive. The grief is here only. No one told me she passed and I feel it greatly. I had mostly known her from the wonderful beautiful letters she sent my mom. God bless you. May your joy at having had her as a mother outweigh the grief you feel. Love, Linda.
PS: I remember swinging on the swings with you and Sharon while the adults visited. I was fascinated by the lovely twin girls at the time. You were both so sweet and good. ?

Dear Sandy and family, your mom was such a wonderful and caring person and I am so sorry for your loss. She taught me so much about making drapes when I worked with her sewing at Waverly and the lessons continued when we worked together at The Interior Alternative. She always had the best answers to my sewing questions and shared all she knew with me. The world has lost a loving person and my thoughts and prayers are with you all. I will be unable to attend the service due to an out of town commitment. I am so sorry. Love and hugs, Charlotte
