Peter A. Love, 55

ADAMS, Mass. —

Peter A. Love, 55, of Adams, died unexpectedly Wednesday morning, August 16, 2023 at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.

He was born in North Adams on April 28, 1968, a son of Claire (Martin) Love. He attended Adams schools and had also obtained a certificate in electricity.

Pete worked as a carpenter and technician for several area general contractors for many years.

He enjoyed woodworking, motorcycling and golfing in his spare time.

He is survived by his mother, Claire Love of Williamstown; his five siblings including Keith Love (Lynn) of Adams; Laurie Elmer of North Adams; Randy Love of Wilmington, NC; Lisa Smith (John) of Summerville, SC; and Amber Mitchell (Steven) of North Adams, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 21st at 6:00 PM in the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St. Adams. Calling hours are Monday from 4 PM until the service at 6 PM in the funeral home.

Pete became friends with my two boys once he moved to center St, he was a very kind person and was always welcome in my house. Sometimes when I wasn’t home it was party time, i never came home to a mess. Pete’s laugh was one of a kind , i could here it across the st. In conclusion…I loved Pete. He was a very special person and I’m proud to have been his friend. May he rest in Peace.
