Nancy LaFrance, 83

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Nancy Ann Sullivan LaFrance, 83, of North Adams, died on Thursday, Aug. 3, 2023, at Berkshire Medical Center.

Nancy was born in Clarksburg on June 16, 1940, a daughter of the late John Francis and Leah Haley Gamache.

Nancy attended schools in Clarksburg and worked at the former Sprague Electric Co. for years as well as the former Sweet Brook Nursing Home in Williamstown. Nancy enjoyed spending time with family, going to the casino, and taking cruises.

Nancy was the widow of Raymond LaFrance. Survivors include her son John Luscier of North Adams; her daughter, Tammy Swanson of Readsboro, Vt.; grandchildren Amanda Swanson and Noah Swanson, and a great-grandchild, Kyle Adams. She was predeceased by her sister, Dolores Goodell; her son William Luscier, and son-in-law Matthew Swanson.

FUNERAL NOTICE: At the request of the family there will be no services for Nancy LaFrance. Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Homes, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, MA 01247, is entrusted with arrangements.
