Eugene Kemp, 80

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —  Eugene Elliott Kemp, 80 of North Adams died Saturday July 29, 2023 at Berkshire Medical Center. He was born in North Adams on March 3, 1943 a son of Phillip and Mary Rose (Robare) Kemp.

Eugene attended schools in Clarksburg, Pownal, Williamstown and in Germany. He was employed for 23 years at W.R. Grace Company. He was a board member of North Adams Historical Society since 1996.

Survivors include his wife Linda Louise (Kiontke) Kemp whom he married September 10, 1977, sons Kevin Kemp of North Adams, Jeffrey Kemp and his wife Jessica (Rowland) Kemp of Adams and grandchildren Anna, Jacob, Allison and Ella. He also leaves several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by brothers, Phillip Kemp, Theodore Kemp, Donald Kemp, sister Joan Simerson and a special uncle and aunt Frank and Irene Weeks whom he lived with for a while.

Funeral services will take place Wednesday August 2, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at the Northern Berkshire Christian Church, 55 Harding Ave. North Adams, MA. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams, MA. To add to the Book of Memories, please visit flynndagnolifuneralhomes.com.

I am so sorry to find that Eugene has passed. What a friendly and conversant man he was ! He was always ready to talk whenever we saw one and other. Linda, my condolences go out to you and your family. Please take care of each other and let the memories warm your hearts.

Linda &Family. I was so saddened and sorry to read of the passing of gene !! He was a true Gentleman and a very kind person. !! The last time I saw him , he said we should get together for coffee.which sadly never happened . My health has also been in decline,so i don`tget out to often .
