Francis E. Williams, 90

Mr. Francis E. Williams, of Stamford, VT, passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023, just after celebrating his 90th birthday. 

Born on June 21, 1933, the son of the late Cyreanous and Mary Hamilton Williams, he graduated from Pittsfield High School.

Fran was employed by Lipton Steel and Beloit where he worked as a welder. It was there he spent his career until he retired.

Among many things, he enjoyed being outside fishing, camping, skiing, snowmobiling, boating and spending time with his family. Francis was very proud that he had spent almost his entire life in Pittsfield Massachusetts.

Francis is survived by his sister Phyllis Ceaser, his son Michael E. Williams and daughter-in-law Donna L. Williams, his daughter Patricia James and his grandchildren Holly Jean, Olivia, Kelsey, Isiah, Brandon, Francis, and Mia and his great granddaughter Stella. He is also survived by his nephews Leslie Jr. and David and niece Barbara and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his wife Virginia A. Williams of Pittsfield.

He was predeceased by his brothers Cyreanous, Melvin and Leslie (Stitch). He is also predeceased by his daughter Tanya Williams and his niece Kathleen Arzt.

Michael. I was just looking at the obits and I ran across your father pic. I see you in him. I am very sorry fir your loss. It looks like he was a good man and I can see where you get it. Take care and be strong for all of you. RIP Mr Williams.
