Marlene J. Guerin, 87

ADAMS, Mass. —  Miss Marlene J. Guerin, 87, of Adams, died on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.

She was born in Adams on March 13, 1936, a daughter of the late S. Isadore and Helen (Rys) Guerin. She attended schools in Adams and graduated from the former Adams High School.

Miss Guerin last worked as an insurance agent for Coakley-Pierpan-Dolan & Collins in North Adams until her retirement. Earlier she had been the manager of the former Phoenix Hotel in North Adams.

She is survived by her longtime companion Robert Librizzi of Pittsfield; her brother Donald Guerin and his companion Dorothy Twardowski of Adams; three sisters, Noella Benvenuti and her husband Roger of Corona, CA, Cheryll McLaren of Adams and Deborah Langner and her husband Arthur of Adams and by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services and burial will be private for the family. There are no calling hours.

The PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, is in charge of arrangements.
