Catherine Arment, 95

LEE, Mass. — Catherine M. Arment, 95, of Lee passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at Berkshire Medical Center.

Born on Sept. 15, 1925, she was the third born out of thirteen siblings in Lee to the late Antonio and Teresa Maule Capitanio.

She attended local schools and worked as a clerk at the former Johansson's Store for many years.

Catherine was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Lee.

Mrs. Arment married Joseph L. Arment on April 14, 1947, at St. Mary's Church. He pre-deceased her on Jan. 13, 1992.

Catherine is survived by her children; Karen A. Arment of Lee, and Michael J. Arment and his wife Debra of Henderson, NV., two grandsons; Steven and Nick Arment, Siblings; Helena Jurczyk of Pittsfield, Patty LaGrant of Lee, and Rena White of Indiana, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Besides her husband and parents, Catherine is predeceased by her 10 siblings; Theresa Punch, Antoinette Grizey, Margaret McCormick, Mary Bowler, Mario, Leo, George, Anthony, Alfred, and Joseph Capitanio

A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Mrs. Catherine M. Arment will be Friday, May 28, 2021, at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Church in Lee, celebrated by Fr. Brian McGrath. Burial will follow in St.

Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Catherine's memory may be made to the Berkshire Humane Society in care of the Roche Funeral Home, 120 Main Street, Lenox, MA 01240.
