I hope this reaches Norma Blair's family. I went to school with her in Hancock Ma. I have a picture from the Eagle of us at the middle school, cooking our lunch. Great times in Hancook.

To the Quimby family,
We want to send our deepest sympathy to all of
you on the passing of Norma.

I had the pleasure of teaching with her at
Hancock School for many years. Norma was a true educator. She was the type of Kindergarten
teacher every parent desires for their child. She was
kind, patient and talented. Her love of farming
was the cornerstone of her classroom. For many
years there was a cage of some little animal for the children to hold, feed and watch grow from the furry bunnies to the baby mice. Norma loved them
all along with her students. Taking her class on
field trips to her farm was also part of her exciting curriculum. The children planted potatoes
and harvested them in the fall along with
pumpkins. I have this wonderful picture of our son,
Weslee standing on top of the hugest pumpkin I
had ever seen. Thank you Norma for that
experience and the wide smile on his face. Another memory that everyone at school and in the town
that attended the Annual Senior Thanksgiving
Dinner was Norma’s class Cole Slaw. It was the very
best! Just like her.
Norma will be missed, but always remembered.
With love and deepest respect,
Charlene Briggs-Raulston,
Darwin and Weslee Raulston
