Elizabeth L. Pugliese, 66

CLARKSBURG, Mass. — Elizabeth Lynn “Betsy” (Morris) Pugliese, 66, of Clarksburg, Mass., passed away on Monday, July 16, 2018, at UMass Medical Center in Worcester, Mass.  

She was born in North Adams, Mass., on March 25, 1952 a daughter of John Alexander and Lynn Elizabeth (Champagny) Morris. Betsy attended local schools and graduated from Drury High School with the class of 1971. She went on to attend Springfield College, where she received both her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Business degrees. 

She was a loyal and devoted employee of General Dynamics for 42 years, where she worked as a senior engineer of information systems; she retired in November 2017. Betsy loved to travel.

Survivors include her loving husband, Dennis Pugliese, whom she married on July 10, 1982; her two stepsons, Dennis Pugliese Jr. and Richard Pugliese, both of New Hampshire; and brothers John T. Morris and his wife, Lori, of Clarksburg; and James A. Morris of North Adams. 

She was predeceased by her sister, Kathryn Gagne.

Funeral notice: A funeral service to celebrate the life of Elizabeth Pugliese will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2018, at 11 a.m. at All Saints Episcopal Church, 59 Summer St., North Adams, MA 01247.
