Big Brothers Big Sisters Asks for Fundraising Help
03-16-2009
To the Editor:
Dear friends of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Berkshire County, I'm taking part in the Bowl for Kid's Sake to raise money for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Berkshire County on March 21, at Cove Lanes in Great Barrington. I would appreciate your support.
(A second event will be heled Saturday, March 28, at Mount Greylock Bowl in North Adams.)
Every year, more than 40 percent of our operating budget is raised through our own fundraising efforts. So we rely on the support of friends and families and other generous people in the community to continue to do our work.
Matching children with mentors who are excellent role models is important. Not only do we want kids to have solid friendships with adults while they have fun, but we also want to help them to succeed in school, do well socially and avoid risky behavior.
As executive director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Berkshire County, I can assure you that we will make good use of each and every dollar that you contribute.

You can donate online with a credit card. All donations are secure and sent directly to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Berkshire County by Firstgiving, which will e-mail you a printable record of your donation.
Thanks in advance for your help. I hope to see you soon
