Adams - Town voters may take advantage of a free shuttle service during the May 7 town election.
An Adams Council on Aging van will pick up voters at a Depot Street parking lot and bring them to the Adams Memorial Middle School polling place from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. .
The free shuttle service is being implemented due to some voter concerns about parking and a steep grade on the hill leading to the school.
Voters who are unable to utilize the shuttle service may travel to the polls via a ride service. The Council on Aging will offer a ride to the polls between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m..
Voters who need a ride for voting purposes may call the Council on Aging at 413-743-8333.
Town Clerk Paul Hutchinson said that temporary parking will be available on the south side of Valley Street. Police officers will post the areas as "temporary voter parking" to avoid any confusion.
Voting hours for the May 7 town election are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m..
