Elder Services of Berkshire County and Alzheimer’s Association, MA chapter are partnering to host an upcoming education series.
This free program is designed for the family and friends involved in the care of someone with any form of dementia, suspected or newly diagnosed. The series consist of six classes and will give participants an opportunity to learn about the disease and the resources available to them.
They will gain knowledge and tools to assist them in coping with their care giving role. Care partners will be able to give better care thus allowing the person to remain in the home longer.
Care partners are invited to attend any or all of the classes.

Studies have shown that three out of 10 caregivers will die before the person they are taking care of. These classes are designed to empower the caregiver and lessen the stress.
Participants are invited to attend any or all classes. Participants will receive a special care package.
