BCC to Offer New Quilting Workshops

Pittsfield- Anyone interested in learning the fine art of quilting is invited to register for the following new workshops being offered at the South County Center of Berkshire Community College.

Art in Quilting: Part I (WKS 8813) is designed for experienced quilters as well as beginning quilters. Topics include collecting materials, choosing fabrics, using tools, and quilting techniques. Classes meet Monday morning, Feb. 26 through April 2, from 9 to 12.

Art in Quilting: Part II (WKS 333), for beginning and advanced quilters, teaches students how to put more art into quilting. Composition and color are emphasized. Classes meet Friday morning, April 6 through May 11, from 9 to 12.
