Pittsfield - The Berkshire Business Information Center and Berkshire Enterprises kick off the sixth year of free business breakfast forums on Friday October 13th at 7:30 a.m. with “How Do You Say Hello?.â€
The forums are sponsored by Berkshire Bank, Legacy Bank, Greylock Federal Credit Union, TD Banknorth, and the Pittsfield Cooperative Bank. The banks also provide support for the Berkshire Business Information Center, a free business resource with books and videos on business topics and computers with high speed internet access.
The Center is located within Berkshire Enterprises’ offices at One Fenn Street, Suite 301 in Pittsfield.
“How Do You Say Hello?†will be a discussion of ways to be more effective in initiating contact with people we don’t know and renewing contact with those we do know. These people may be potential customers, lenders, employees, suppliers, or fellow business owners. The discussion will be led by Ellen Ruberto. Ruberto is an experienced, successful saleswoman. She teaches classes on sales at Berkshire Community College and other forums.
The Breakfast Forum is designed for small business owners and managers. It is a place for owners to meet and gain information vital to their businesses. The forums aim to provide tools that can be used immediately.
Bellisimo Dolce of Pittsfield will provide pastries.
The forum will be held at One Fenn Street in the third floor board room. It is free and a continental breakfast will be served. Space is limited and reservations are required. For reservations or for more information about the monthly Forums, call Steve Fogel at Berkshire Enterprises at 448-2755.
