Police have charged three people with shooting car windows with B-B guns.
Leonard Boudreau III, 19, of Adams and 18-year-old Steven Candiloro of Clarksburg are charged with 39 separate counts of destruction of property and charges of discharging a B-B gun from or across a public way. Amanda Pierce,18, of Adams faces 33 counts destruction of property as well.
The incidents occurred during the first two weekends in September, when windows were reported smashed out of vehicles belonging to residents, local car dealerships, and the American Cab Company in North Adams.
Police have estimated over $9,000 in damages resulted from the 39 reported incidents in Adams and North Adams.
Boudreau, Candiloro and Pierce were arraigned Tuesday in Northern Berkshire District Court before Judge Fredric Rutberg. They were released on personal recognizance.
The cases were continued to Nov. 8 at the Northern Berkshire District Court.
