Mark Picks Up Endorsement from Professional Firefighters

DALTON, Mass. — Paul Mark, Democratic candidate for state representative in the 2nd Berkshire District, picked up the endorsement of the Professional Firefighters of Massachusetts last week. The association boasts 12,000 members across 200 local outfits of the International Association of Firefighters.
“The Professional Firefighters of Massachusetts endorsement demonstrates that my vow to fully fund local aid is vital to ensuring the safety of our communities,” said Mark upon receiving the Firefighters’ endorsement.
The PFFM’s backing rounds out Mark’s endorsements from other public safety trade groups that represent police officers and ambulance workers.
“I’m proud that the public safety professionals who lay themselves on the line every day are also lining up to back me,” Mark added.

This endorsement is interesting given that every single town in the 2nd Berkshire District with the exception of the City of Pittsfield has volunteer fire fighters not professional career fire fighters. This is how out of touch Mark is with the political geography he seeks to represent. It would mean more if he had the backing of the Massachusetts Call/Volunteer Fireighters' Association.
Ohh, he's sooo out of touch....
Come on. The guy gets a really great endorsement, and it's not good enough. Clearly you're supporting someone else in this race, and just knocking Paul Mark for anything you can grab at. Nobody has the MCVFA endorsement.
But the very fact that Paul has the support of ANY firefighters is better than what all the other candidates have come up with: nothing.
Mr. Mark if you do become the winner of this race, I will be laughing as the republicans eat you up.

You will NEVER be able too keep your bought and paid for UNIONS, satisfied!

They take their time and dedicate themselves, their lives & their families to be there & help those in need. Was that in English? Good thing you posted it twice. Are you saying there are no teachers in berkshire county? Or nurses, or ironworkers, or telephone workers, etc?

The PFFM are heroes who put their lives on the line everyday to rescue people and property. I don't question their judgment. I am proud of them. If they back Dr. Mark, he must be the right man for the job!
Endorsements are nice,but lets remember that only a few do not speak for the whole.Ask individual teachers what they think of the MTA representatives that endorsed Mr Mark. You may find that they don't always agree with their recommendations
