Chaffe or Chafe as he was known coached tennis at Williams for about 30 years. He had some outstanding teams and defeated some of the D1 Ivy powers. After his retirement from Williams he played the national senior circuit and won I think around 30 national championships. He was a beloved figure in Berkshire tennis.
