The annual Clarksburg Easter egg hunt, sponsored by the VFW, was held at town field on Saturday. See more photos here.

Finding the winning eggs were Cooper Schadler, Landon Lavigne and Caden Zoltok (age 5 & younger);Emma Dupuis, Zamira Saimbert and Anastasia Girard(Ages 6-9); and Kayla Therrien, Brandon Girard and Heaven Williams (ages 10-12).

Anderson Leads SteepleCats Past Danbury

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Aedan Anderson went 3-for-4 with a home run and a double Friday to lead the North Adams SteepleCats to a 12-8 win over Danbury, Conn., Westerners in the New England Collegiate Baseball League.
 
The SteepleCats broke a 7-7 tie with a five-run seventh inning on the way to breaking a 13-game losing streak in front of their home fans at Joe Wolfe Field.
 
Monument Mountain's Jayder Raifstanger went 1-for-5 with a pair of RBIs, and Taconic's Sam Sherman also was 1-for-5 at the plate for North Adams.
 
Owen Fox earned the win on the mound with 2 and two-thirds innings of work in relief.
 
North Adams (13-26) travels to Holyoke on Saturday for a double-header against the Valley Blue Sox.
