WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - New parents and their little ones are invited to the New Parents Gallery Talk series at the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute. The talks, most appropriate for parents with pre-toddlers, take place at 10:15 am on November 6, December 4, January 8, February 5, and March 5.
Admission is free.
The series gives new parents, along with their babies, an opportunity to meet other new parents and enjoy a Clark curator-led gallery talk geared toward adults. The talks explore a variety of art objects in the Clark's collection.
Parents may bring strollers or carry their babies in the galleries. To ensure the safety of the works of art, backpack-style infant carriers are not permitted in the galleries. Front-hanging carriers are welcome.
The Clark is located at 225 South Street in Williamstown. The galleries are open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm (daily in July and August). Admission is free November 1 through May 31. Admission June 1 through October 31 is $12.50 for adults, free for children 18 and younger, members, and students with valid ID.
