Mammography Dispute The government's issued controversial new guidelines stating that women shouldn't get annual mammograms until age 50, rather than age 40.

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. — The Friends of Daniel Pearl Festival (FODfest) will feature John Gorka at at the Guthrie Center in Housatonic on Sunday, Aug. 23.
The day also will include a Berkshire hike, dinner and campfire song swap and jam session with Gorka, an acclaimed folk singer and songwriter. Proceeds from the event will benefit this year's 5th annual FODfest tour in October.
FODfest is a celebration of community and friendship through music, honoring the life of the late Wall Street Journal reporter. Pearl began his journalism career at the North Adams Transcript and The Berkshire Eagle.
Pearl, a musician, was a believer in the power of music to bring people together regardless of their differences. FODfest celebrates that ideal through multimedia presentations and an free concert tour each October as a featured event of Daniel Pearl World Music Days.
