Northern Berkshire Neighbors begins a new tradition…Summer Basketball
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. - Looking for some summer fun? Come watch a game of the Neighborhood Summer Basketball league, or better yet join us at the courts every Tuesday and Thursday this month!Teams of boys and girls ages 9-16 have been formed of residents from Brayton Hill Apartments, Mohawk Forest, Greylock Valley, and the United Neighborhood Organization.
Each neighborhood team will host games at their own courts, Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 7 p.m. (see full schedule below).
Thursday, July 9: UNO @ Mohawk
Tuesday, July 14: Brayton @ UNO
Thursday, July 16: Mohawk @ Greylock
Tuesday, July 21: Mohawk @ Brayton
Thursday, July 23: Greylock @ UNO
Tuesday, July 28: Brayton @ Greylock
Thursday, July 30: UNO @ Mohawk
The Neighborhood Basketball League has been organized by Northern Berkshire Neighbors, a program of the Northern Berkshire Community Coalition, and is sponsored by Berkshire Bank.
A zero tolerance policy for all drugs, alcohol and tobacco products will be instituted during all games. Come cheer on local athletes as they display their hoops talents on the courts this summer!
