Shakespeare & Co staff will work with students in the BAC. Students will play theatre skill games related to the world of the play, and learn the story of the two summer 2009 mainstage productions at Shakespeare & Co. through their own interactive performances. Students will perform their short scenes for each other with minimal props and sound.
Sessions will end with a reflective exercise during which students recount surprises and delights of their experiences. It may be possible for students to receive a voucher entitling them to attend the Sunday and Friday matinee of the performance free, accompanied by a parent who can attend at a reduced rate. The scenes for each workshop, even though based on the same play, will be different.
