Mill City Productions announces auditions
Mill City Productions will be holding auditions for its upcoming production of “Zombie Prom” – a rock musical parody of teen horror movies in the atomic age – on Monday, April 6 and Wednesday, April 8 at 6:30 pm at their theatre in Building 4 (next to the Visitors’ Center) of the Western Gateway Heritage State Park. Teens and adults of all ages & experience levels are invited to audition.Those auditioning should come prepared to sing about 30 seconds of a song of their choice a cappella. Auditioners will also be taught a short dance combination and will be asked to read scenes from the play; no prepared monologues are necessary. Please dress warmly with layers comfortable for movement. “Zombie Prom” will be directed by Mike Grogan, with choreography by Liz Urban & musical direction by Marissa Carlson.
Rehearsals will be May - July, with performances during the third & fourth weeks of July. Mill City Productions is a non-profit, community-based, multigenerational collaborative focused on creating an outlet for expression and education for theatrical veterans and novices alike.
