Logo Contest and Name Change10:24AM / Monday, December 08, 2008
Berkshire SHARE is sponsoring a logo design contest. “We are changing our name and think this is the perfect time to design a logo that can represent us,” said Crystal Ogert the co-coordinator.
When the New England states broke away from S.H.A.R.E and became Serve New England the N. Adams chapter held onto it’s name. “Our chapter is 17 years old this month, and it’s time for a change! We are the largest group in Serve New England we really should get our name on board. We are now going to be called Berkshire Serve”
All logo designs need to be submitted to Berkshire Serve by Jan 8. There will be a $50 award for the design that wins and a $20 Wal-Mart gift certificate for the runner-up.
Logos should try to express Berkshire Serves spirit of enriching the community through volunteerism as well as providing members food security through a food co-op that provides affordable food.
Logos can be delivered to the N Adams office at St Johns Church through the red door on the parking lot side of the building. The office is only manned on Thursdays 2-6. Logos also can be submitted by mail to Berkshire Serve, PO Box 814, N Adams, MA. 01247. |
