Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony01:47PM / Monday, December 01, 2008
The Department of Community Development Recreation Program has announced that the annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held at Park Square on Friday, December 5 at 6:00 p.m. The Taconic High School Chorus will perform. Santa Claus will arrive following the tree lighting and free hot chocolate will be available to all, courtesy of Applebee’s.
This year’s tree was donated by Joan and Fred Mastrogiovanni of Pittsfield.
Those planning to attend the ceremony are asked to bring non-perishable food items that will be donated to the Christian Center’s food pantry.
