VNA of Northern Berkshire adds flu vaccine clinics - November 20, 2008
NORTH ADAMS, Mass - The Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice of Northern Berkshire has added two flu vaccination clinics to its December schedule.
Clinics will be held Wednesday, December 10 from 2 to 4 p.m., and Monday, December 15 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the VNA & Hospice Community Room, 535 Curran Highway, North Adams.
The clinics are open to individuals age 18 and older. There is no charge for the vaccination but donations will be accepted to offset the cost of the clinic.
An annual flu shot is recommended for anyone over the age of 65 or who has a chronic illness, and for those who wish to reduce the risk of contracting the flu this winter. For more information one may call the VNA & Hospice of Northern Berkshire at (413) 664-4536. |
