MCLA And BCC To Present Stem Career Fair - November 12, 2008
NORTH ADAMS, Mass – The Berkshire STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Pipeline Network will present a STEM Career Fair for high school juniors and seniors on Friday, Nov. 14, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Berkshire Community College (BCC) in Pittsfield.
Administered by Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) the Berkshire STEM Pipeline Network is presenting the fair to promote interest in and encourage students to pursue STEM fields of study. The fair also will showcase career opportunities with local employers.
Displays will include hands-on activities and demonstrations, and students and their teachers will have the opportunity to speak with business and industry partners, as well as with MCLA and BCC faculty and students who are involved with STEM fields. |
