2nd Annual Auction at The Silvio O Conte Middle School08:49AM / Monday, November 10, 2008
The Silvio O Conte Middle School PTG is holding their 2nd annual auction to raise funds for the 2008-09 academic year. The goal of the PTG is to raise enough funds to provide hands on educational experiences for students, purchase much needed school supplies and make sure every student has everything they need to assure them a fair chance at receiving the best education possible.
Last year the Conte PTG made and spent over $15,000 on projects, supplies, and events for students and teachers. The auction will be run by official auctioneer Ron Seifert who is donating his time and expertise. The auction is being held at the Conte Middle School's library on East Main St. on Friday, November 14th. Preview begins at 5:30pm and auction starts at 6:30.
Many Berkshire businesses have generously donated this year so the PTG is inviting the community at large to come and join the fun and start your holiday shopping while supporting a great cause! Contact Karen Beauchemin or Diane Cooper at Conte at 662-3200 or email them at contemiddleschoolptg@yahoo.com. |
