Lauren Sinnenberg of Williams named to District 1 2008 Academic All-District 1 First Team - November 03, 2008
Eph junior goalie Lauren Sinnenberg (Westfield, NJ) has been named to the 2008 Academic All-District 1 Women's Soccer First Team and has been placed on the ESPN Academic All-American Team ballot. To be named to the Academic All-District team a player must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.30 and be a significant contributor to the team's success. Sinnenberg has been named to the Dean's List (minimum GPA of 3.5) all four semesters at Williams and she is a majoring in biology. Sinnenberg has led the Ephs to a 14-0-1 record and for the second year in a row the Ephs have not lost a regular season game, compiling a regular season record of 27-0-1 over the last two seasons. In 1080:11 in the net she has allowed but four goals and owns a glittering 0.33 goals against average. Sinnenberg has recorded 29 saves and boasts a .879 save percentage. Her won lost record this season is 11-0-1 and she is tied for first in NESCAC with 7 shutouts. Sinnenberg's career won – lost record stands at 28-1-1 and she has 17 shutouts. |
