Leadership at a Crossroads: Public Forum to Explore Region’s
Challenges and OpportunitiesDalton - On Wednesday, October 29, Senator Benjamin Downing will set the stage “Leadership at the Crossroads,” a participatory forum designed to explore the current challenges and opportunities in the Central Berkshire Region with community, business and education leaders and activists.
The event is sponsored by the Central Berkshire Regional School District to call attention to leadership needs in the area and to introduce a four session Leadership Training Program that is open to business, community and education leaders. Doors open and refreshments will be served starting at 6:00. The program will begin at 6:30 and conclude at 9 pm. Suggested donations of $5 to cover expenses are appreciated.
The central Berkshire community is at a crossroads. Dynamic economic, political and social forces are affecting the quality of life, work and education. There is a critical need for effective leadership, nimble decision-making, and collaboration in all sectors of the region. This event is designed to involve the community in identifying leadership skills and competencies that will be developed in the upcoming Leadership Training.
