Mental Health Awareness Events in Williamstown
Williamstown – October is Mental Health Awareness Month! And the Williams College Psychological Counseling Services, the Chaplains’ Office, the student chapter of Active Minds, and the ecumenical group Advocates for Mental Health Awareness, sponsored by the First Congregational Church of Williamstown, have banded together to offer a series of three free panel discussions on common mental health issues that affect individuals, families, and the community. The groups’ goal is to increase understanding, reduce stigma, and promote community support for individuals and families who face challenges relating to mental health.
