Local Photographer's Work Featured at Epoch - April 24, 2008
PITTSFIELD — Local photographer Jeff Sotek will visit Epoch at Melbourne, 140 Melbourne Road, for a reception to open a gallery of his work on Thursday, May 1, at 7 p.m. The public is invited to attend but a reservation is required by calling 413-499-1992.
Sotek, who is influenced by Art Wolfe, Ansel Adams and George Lepp, has spent much time outdoors in the Berkshires, Adirondacks and many national parks photographing nature's scenery. His photography focuses on nature and landscapes. Sotek has recently been published in the Closer Look at the Berkshires Calendar in 2007 and in the National Park Services' National Historic Landmarks 2008 Calendar.
His work will be on display through May in the Epoch gallery, which is open for visitors between 9 and 4 daily. |
