BHS To Present Diabetes Management Program - March 24, 2008
PITTSFIELD - Berkshire Health Systems' Diabetes Education program will present a free public program on diabetes management from the patient perspective on Tuesday, April 1st. "Taking Control" will be held at Berkshire Medical Center at 7:00 pm in Private Dining Room A, located near the BMC Café on the ground floor.
The speaker for the program is Carolyn Crumpler, who was diagnosed in 1975 with Type 2 diabetes and since 2005 has been lecturing nationally on diabetes self-management. Crumpler, from Ohio, will discuss the importance of taking control of diabetes, along with helpful advice on how to keep in control.
