More Snow
The Berkshires received several inches of snow this morning, but not enough to close schools, unlike yesterday's sleety mess. Temperatures will drop into the 20s this afternoon. A few more snow showers are expected through the weekend.
We have reports that the roads are very slippery to take care in the evening commute. |

North Adams Regional Hospital went smoke-free Monday — so did all its sister sites, from Sweet Brook to Northern Berkshire Family Practice to the Women's Exchange. No ashtrays, no smoking: No butts about it. |

Mill City Karaoke Night - March 12, 2008
Mill City Productions, a local community theater company is holding a Karaoke fundraiser on Saturday, March 15th. The event will be held at The Elks Lodge, 100 Eagle Street in North Adams from 7pm- 1am. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students and children.
All proceeds will go towards Mill City's production of Assassins - The Musical as well as other upcoming productions. Berkshire Idol contestants of all rounds and ages as well as other interested community members are encouraged to come and share their talent. Beverages will be available for purchase as well as snacks for donations.
