More Snow
The Berkshires received several inches of snow this morning, but not enough to close schools, unlike yesterday's sleety mess. Temperatures will drop into the 20s this afternoon. A few more snow showers are expected through the weekend.
We have reports that the roads are very slippery to take care in the evening commute. |

 North Adams Regional Hospital went smoke-free Monday — so did all its sister sites, from Sweet Brook to Northern Berkshire Family Practice to the Women's Exchange. No ashtrays, no smoking: No butts about it. |

Free Art Making Workshop for Kids - January 25, 2008
Stockbridge - IS183 Art School is offering a free “Making Art Together” session on Saturday, February 9th from 10am to 12noon. Children and their caregivers of all abilities are invited to join faculty artist Kim Waterman-Spitzer in a “Creative Collage” workshop.
Kim Waterman-Spitzer holds a Masters Degree in Art Education from Hunter College. She has been teaching children of all ages for the past fifteen year, including the past five at IS183.
IS183 Art School is a non-profit community art school encouraging people of all ages, means and skill levels to enrich their lives through hands-on experience in the visual arts. IS183 is located at 13 Willard Hill Road, just off Route 183 via Trask Lane.
