Eugene R. Martin, 62

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Eugene Raymond Martin, 62, of 12 Spring St. died Saturday, May 29, 2010, at North Adams Regional Hospital.

Born in North Adams on Oct. 31, 1947, son of Francis and Alma LaBonte Martin, he attended local schools.

Mr. Martin was last employed at at the former Widen Tannery. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He leaves two daughters, Marie Martin of North Adams and Jennifer Martin of Vermont; a son, Timothy Martin of North Adams; eight sisters, Shirley Therrien of Clarksburg, Nancy Luscier of Pittsfield, Sandra Dooley of Hoosick Falls, N.Y., Susan Washburn of the town of Florid and Judy Martin, Debra Beaudoin, Karen Wentz and Brenda Moore, all of North Adams; seven brothers, Robert Martin of Cheshire, James Martin of Williamstown, Francis Martin and Jonathan Martin, both of Adams, and Richard Martin, Raymond Martin and Thomas Martin, all of North Adams, and grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his sisters Mary Bushee and Rosalyn Halley.

FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Mr. Martin will be Wednesday, June 2, at 11 at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Burial will be at a later date. Donations may be made in his memory to the funeral home.
