Karen S. Lescarbeau, 49

READSBORO, Vt. — Karen Sue Lescarbeau, 49, of 6951 Main St. died Monday, March 22, 2010, at Albany (N.Y.) Medical Center. Born in Bennington on Oct. 16, 1960, daughter of Kenneth and Mary Carruth Tower, she attended schools in Monroe Bridge, Mass., and Drury High School in North Adams, Mass. Mrs. Lescarbeau was last employed at Sawyer Bentwoods in Whitingham for about eight years and, before that, at Mount Snow Ski Resort. She was a member of Readsboro Baptist Church. She enjoyed camping, dancing and reading the Bible. She leaves her husband, Bruce P. Lescarbeau, whom she married on Sept. 29, 1978; a son, Bruce P. Lescarbeau Jr. of Readsboro; two brothers, George E. Tower and Ronald K. Tower, both of Readsboro; a grandson, Paul C. Lescarbeau; her mother-in-law, Anita Passardi of North Adams, and nieces, nephews and cousins. FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Mrs. Lescarbeau will be Saturday, March 27, at 11 a.m. at Readsboro Baptist Church. Burial will be in the spring in Village Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday, March 26, from 4 to 7 at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 571 West Main St., North Adams, MA 01247. Memorial contributions may be made to Whitingham Ambulance Inc. in care of the funeral home.
