Armand Clermont, 92
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Armand Adrien "Mike" Clermont, 92, of 17 Pleasant St. died Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006, at North Adams Commons.
Born in Adams on Oct. 28, 1914, son of Henri and Alexina Rancourt Clermont, he attended schools there.
Mr. Clermont was employed by Boston & Maine Railroad for many years, retiring 30 years ago. Before that, he worked for the former Berkshire Fine Spinning Associates.
He was a communicant of the Parishes of Notre Dame-St. Thomas and enjoyed carpentry and painting pictures. He especially enjoyed time spent with his family
He and his wife, the former Anna V. Kozak, celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary Sept. 18.
Besides his wife, he leaves a brother, Edward Clermont of North Adams; and a sister, Aline Lord of Adams, and nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
He was predeceased by eight brothers, Oliver, Henry, Harvey, Noel, Leon, Paul, Ernest and Clarence Clermont, and by six sisters, Ida Mandeville, Jeanne Dupuis, Blanche Cunningham, Regina Barbeau, and Yvonne and Florence Clermont.
FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Mr. Clermont will be tomorrow at 10 at PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams. The Rev. Daniel J. Boyle, pastor of the Catholic Parishes of Adams, will officiate. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams.
