Kevin L. Boland, 39

NORTH ADAMS, Mass.— Kevin Leo Boland, 39, of 21 Sunset Road, Key Largo, Fla., formerly of North Adams, died April 9, 2004, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Key Largo. Born in Cocoa Beach, Fla., on Nov. 11, 1964, son of William M. Boland of North Adams and Elizabeth Sullivan Boland of Warren, R.I., he grew up in North Adams and was a 1983 graduate of Drury High School, where he was active in sports and was co-captain of the soccer and hockey teams. He had resided in Key Largo for four years. At the time of his death, Mr. Boland was employed as a land surveyor in the Florida Keys. While in North Adams, he worked for the city's Parks and Recreation Department. He and his wife, the former Amy Guggina, were married July 15, 2000. Besides his parents and his wife, he leaves two brothers, William M. Boland Jr. of Westport, Conn., and Michael S. Boland of North Adams, and a sister, Mary "Molly" Luczynski of Leavenworth, Wash. FUNERAL NOTICE — Graveside services for Mr. Boland will be conducted Wednesday, April 21, at 11:30 at the family lot in Southview Cemetery. A reception will follow at Jae's Inn, Curran Highway, North Adams. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the Amy Boland Trust, c/o Watertown Savings Bank, 60 Main St., Watertown, MA 02472. AUGE-SAN SOUCIE-SIMMONS FUNERAL HOME, 46 North Church St., North Adams, MA 01247, is in charge of arrangements.
