Michael E. Cunningham, 46
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Michael Edward "Slick" Cunningham, 46, of 35 Hall St. died Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2002, at the emergency room at North Adams Regional Hospital after being stricken earlier in the evening.
Born in North Adams on Sept. 5, 1956, son of Janet Anderson Cunningham of Williamstown and the late Edward "Jake" Cunningham, he attended schools in Williamstown and graduated from Mount Greylock Regional High School in 1974.
After graduation, Mr. Cunningham moved to the state of Texas, where he was employed for many years as a landscaper and lawn care specialist.
He moved back to Williamstown and was last employed as a member of the groundskeeping crew at Waubeeka Golf Links until the time of his death. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and playing pool.
Besides his mother, he leaves two sisters, Cindy Raby of Hopesound, Fla., and Kelly Phillips of Williamstown; three brothers, Stephen Cunningham, Patrick Cunningham and Scott Cunningham, all of Williamstown, and nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by a sister, Denise George on May 2, 1981.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Funeral services for Mr. Cunningham will take place Saturday afternoon at 1 at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams.
Burial will follow in the family plot in Eastlawn Cemetery, Williamstown. Calling hours at the funeral home are Friday from 5 to 8. Memorial donations are suggested in his memory through the funeral home.
