Rita Lively, 89
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Rita Lively, 89, formerly of Danforth Street, died Friday, Feb. 19, 2016, at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington.
Born in Adams on Oct. 23, 1926, daughter of Simon and Agnes DuBois Lamarre, she graduated from the former Adams High School.
Mrs. Lively was last employed by Excelsior Printing Co. in North Adams.
She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church and was a devoted churchgoer. She enjoyed music and reading.
Her husband, Bernard Roland Lively, whom she married in 1946, died on July 27, 2012.
She leaves a daughter, Lynn Lampiasi of North Adams; two sons, Mark J. Lively of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Bernard David Lively of Bennington; two grandchildren, Matthew Lampiasi and Chad Lampiasi; a great grandson, Anthony Lampiasi, and nieces and nephews.
Twelve brothers and sisters are deceased, including seven sisters Loriana Estes, Agnes Bressett, Odessa LaMarre, Rose Reeves, Corinne Bush, Marie Kruszyna and Sister Laura LaMarre, and three brothers, Simon LaMarre, Alfred LaMarre and Howard LaMarre.
