Barbara R. Jolin, 88

CLARKSBURG, Mass. — Barbara R. Jolin, 88, of 25 Lincoln Drive, formerly of Williamstown, died Monday, Sept. 16, 2013, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield. Born in North Adams on Dec. 30, 1924, a daughter of Alfred Worthington and Runnette Holt Worthington Nicklien, and stepdaughter of Frank Nicklien, she graduated from the former Williamstown High School in 1942. Mr. Jolin was employed for many years at the former Williamstown National Bank on Spring Street. She loved spending time with her family and was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her husband, Rolland A. "Babe" Jolin, whom she married Aug. 21, 1943, died June 5, 1972. She leaves her twin daughters, Diane Chenail and her husband, Larry, of the town of Florida and Donna Estes and her husband, John, of Clarksburg; two sisters, Dorothy Damon of Pennsylvania and Ruby Roberge of Tennessee; a brother, Gerald Nicklien of the state of Florida; four loving grandchildren, Rachel Leary, Deron Estes, Brett Chenail and Amy Cyr, and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother Aaron Worthington. FUNERAL NOTICE — Private graveside services for Mrs. Jolin will take place Wednesday, Sept. 18, at the family plot in Westlawn Cemetery, Williamstown. Memorial donations are suggested for the Jimmy Fund through Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals.
