Lilian A. Fenton, 82

November 29, 2009

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Lilian Alda Fenton, 82, of 245 Sand Springs Road died Sunday, Nov. 29, 2009, at home.

Born in the town of Florida on March 8, 1927, daughter of Nina Caprari Buckley, she attended schools in Shelburne Falls and graduated from Drury High School in 1944.

Mrs. Fenton worked at the former Sprague Electric Co. for 35 years, until her retirement in 1988.

She was a member of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Richard A. Ruether Post 152 American Legion. She enjoyed travel, especially trips to the Foxwoods casino in Connecticut.

She and her husband, David E. Fenton, were married on June 1, 1946.

Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, David J. Fenton and his wife, Troy, of Londonderry, Vt., and Richard O. Fenton of Casselberry, Fla.; two brothers, Richard Shupe and William Caprari, both of North Adams; nine grandchildren, Greg Fenton, Jill Bozek, Jason Bozek, Alison Fenton, Sarah Fenton, D. Chadwick Fenton, Eric J. Fenton, Tyler Fenton and Ryan Fenton; two great grandchildren, Jonnie and Alex, and nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two daughters, Shirley Fenton and Jacqueline Bozek, and a sister and three other brothers, Jennie Rossi and Lawrence, Aldo and Olympio Caprari.

FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Mrs. Fenton will be Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2009, at 10 from Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be Tuesday from 5 to 7. Memorial donations are suggested for VNA & Hospice of Northern Berkshire in care of the funeral home.
