Mammography Dispute The government's issued controversial new guidelines stating that women shouldn't get annual mammograms until age 50, rather than age 40.

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Gene Kelly, 85, of 18 Aztec Drive died Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2009, at home.
Born in Greenfield on Aug. 9, 1924, daughter of Murdock and Hazel Vickery MacKay, she attended Greenfield and North Adams schools and graduated from Drury High School.
Mrs. Kelly was employed in the personnel department of the former Sprague Electric Co. Before that, she worked at medical practice of Dr. Heeks.
She attended First Congregational Church.
Her husband, James Martin Kelly, whom she married Dec. 6, 1977, died on Aug. 14, 1983.
She leaves a sister-in-law, Lorraine MacKay of North Adams, cousins including Merlene Francis of Clarksburg and her beloved cat, Molly.

FUNERAL NOTICE — A graveside service for Mrs. Kelly will be held Wednesday, Nov. 4, at 11 in Southview Cemetery.
