Diana Butler Lampiasi, 88
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Diana M. Butler Lampiasi, 88, of 183 Mohawk Forest Blvd. died Friday, July 17, 2009, at home.Born Burlington, Vt., on Jan. 7, 1921, daughter of Amede and Alphonsine LeClair Lambert, she attended schools in Burlington.
Mrs. Lampiasi was employed as a home health aide and previously at Sweet Brook Care Centers in Williamstown. She first worked at the former Greylock Woolen Mills and at the former Sprague Electric Co.
She enjoyed hand crafts, traveling and spenting time with her grandchildren.
Her first husband, Loyce Butler, and her husband, Victor Lampiasi, predeceased her.
She leaves a daughter, Sandra Adams and her husband, Raymond, of Craftsbury, Vt.; two sons, Keith Butler of North Adams and James Butler and his wife, Laurie, of Adams; a brother, Claude Lambert of Orlando, Fla.; two sisters, Claire Arnold of North Adams and Cecile Couture of Meriden, Conn.; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her son James Claude Butler in infancy, her sisters Lillian LaFleur, Rena Arnold, Jennette Corrigan and Georgette Therrien, brothers Louis Lambert and Hilaire Lambert.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Funeral services for Mrs. Lampiasi will take place Friday at 2 p.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church in North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.
