Ivonnette T. Quirk, 79
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Ivonnette Theresa Quirk, 79, of 14 Gallup St. died Thursday, April 16, 2009, at North Adams Regional Hospital.Born in North Adams on Dec. 3, 1929, a daughter of William and Beatrice Cyr Pinsonneault, she attended the former Notre Dame School and graduated from Drury High School in 1948.
Mrs. Quirk was last employed by the North Adams Public Schools as a cafeteria cashier. She had earlier been employed for 20 years at the former Sprague Electric Co.
She was a communicant of the former St. Francis of Assisi Church. In her younger years, she enjoyed bowling and basketball.
She and her husband, William T. Quirk, were married Nov. 24, 1966, in the former Notre Dame Church.
Besides her husband, she leaves her daughter, Kathleen Ann Choquette Fletcher of Adams; a son, Daniel William Quirk and his wife, Susan, of Dracut, and three grandchildren, Monique Fletcher, Alyssa and Alexis Quirk.
She was predeceased by her sisters and brothers Gladys Trudeau, Lorraine Bullett, Clarence Pinsonneault and William Pinsonneault.
FUNERAL SERVICE — A Liturgy of Christian Burial will take place Tuesday at 11 from St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church in North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
