Donald Wayne Demers
Donald Wayne Demers, 42, of 625 Middle Road died Monday at the North Adams Regional Hospital after being stricken earlier at his home.Born in North Adams on June 20, 1964, son of C. Kenneth Demers and the late Barbara Jane Keyes Demers, he attended schools in Clarksburg and graduated from Drury High School in North Adams in 1985.
At the time of his death he was employed at Jiminy Peak in the buildings and grounds department for the last four years. Prior to that he was employed for 11 years at the Eagle Lumber Co. in Stamford, Vt.
He enjoyed four-wheeling, watching wrestling and monster trucking, square dancing, contra dancing, going to local fairs and working in his woodworking shop.
He leaves his father, C. Kenneth Demers of Clarksburg, and a sister, Jane Elizabeth Moulton of Hartford, N.Y.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Donald Wayne Demers died Monday, Sept. 11, 2006. The Demers family will greet and welcome family and friends at the family farm at 625 Middle Road, Clarksburg on Sunday beginning at 11 a.m.
There are no calling hours. He leaves a brother-in-law, Daniel Moulton; several nieces and nephews; and a grandnephew.
He was predeceased by three brothers, Kenneth Carl Demers in 1972, Edwin Glen Demers in 1981, and Clarence Lee Demers in 1982; and a sister, Beverly Ahola, in 1997.
